Typhoons and rainstorms may hit Hong Kong between July and
September. If that happens, the government will issue a five-grade Typhoon
Warning (signals 1, 3, 8, 9 and 10) and a four-grade Rainstorm Warning (green,
amber, red, black). Radio and TV broadcasts will inform the public of all storm
movements and necessary actions.
